i love my stretchmarks.
i remember when i first got them, and they were purple and my mother told me they’d never go away, and i cried because i found them hideous.
she didn’t tell me how they change. now they’re silvery and they’re everywhere. they make my skin glitter, and i adore them.

Yesterday my mother called me a disgusting slob because she saw my stretchmarks. Still trying to recover from that…
My mom asked me if I had a bruise on my thigh and it turned out she was just pointing to my new stretchmarks. She said we match now, but she doesn’t speak highly of her body, so idk.
I love mine though, I think they’re cute. Even though they are still purple/red.
